Pialite ™ Construction Grade
Pialite ™ Perlite Construction Grade expanded perlite serves multiple purposes in construction either as a lightweight aggregate, insulative aggregate, filler or as a texturizer. Expanded perlite are comprised of numerous microscopic glass bubbles containing trapped air which gives perlite both its excellent insulating value as well as its light weight. Additionally, perlite’s high melting point makes it very suitable for fire-proofing composites and other heat-resistant products.

- It is highly recommended to use a mixer with low speed, such as plaster mixer to produce the good and uniform results
- Put all ingredients except perlite into the mixer and mix until it becomes a neat dough. This process can be done for 2 minutes.
- Add the perlite and stir for another 2-3 minutes. It must be ensured that no overmixing was occured, because it will destroy the perlite and the weight of the concrete will be heavier. It will also reduce the volume of the final concrete.
